All mankind are slaves to Satan, whether they recognize that or not. To remove that slave mark and no longer be under demonic deception, must be by the grace of God.
"'When the disciples heard this, they were very astonished and said, "Then who can be saved?" And looking at them Jesus said to them, "With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." (Matt.19:25,26)
"And someone said to Him, "Lord, are there just a few who are being saved?" And He said to them, "Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able." (Luke13:23,24)
"Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers! Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." (Matt.7:22,23,14)
Logic cannot remove the brand mark of a mind and heart enslaved to deception.
Such enslavement to lies is allowed by our God, among those hearts which do not have a complete and sincere love of Truth.
"The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness." (2Thess.2:9-12)
When we love the truth in our heart, we speak it, and we obey it, and we are slaves of God...
"A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart (Luke8:11, 15), and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of." (Luke6:45)
"These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads." (Deut.6:6,8)
""There will no longer be any curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His slaves will serve Him; They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads." (Rev.22:3,4)
Those who are deceived, do not love God's truth in their heart. They fall slaves to Satan's lying seed, instead.
"Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon. It forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads " (Rev.13:11,16)
They become drunk on the wine of Satan's deep things, and fall asleep.
To understand the sacred secrets of the kingdom, is a gift of God...
"He told them, 'The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables so that, "'they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!'" (Mark4:11,12)
"At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, 'I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do.'" (Luke10:21)
Only the meek and God fearing, gain access to the Trees of Life (Rev.2:7; 22:14, 2) and the healing "fruit" they offer (Luke6:44-45; Matt.7:20; Rev.22:2).
Those enslaved to Confusion/Babylon, will not see life. (John3:36)
The very reason why such people are only swayed by the physical, is because this is what impresses them. They do not have spiritual eyes, given them by the spirit.
"The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit." (1Cor.2:14)
"Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words." (1Cor.2:12,13)
Those without the spirit, see only the physical world. They confuse the worldly blessings of Satan, as divine favor (Matt.4:9)
"Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world." (1John2:15,16)
"They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them. We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood." (1John4:5,6)
The steward who accepts Satan's power in this world, gains control of the international Gentile Beast...for a time (Rev.17:3, 15). Such harlots are lavished by Satan, with every worldly treasure.
They fail the test of Matt.4:9 and 1John2:15.
Those who are physical are impressed by such displays of power and riches (1Cor.4:5-13; Rev.3:17,18),
but we remember that Jesus said that it is harder for such a one to enter God's kingdom, than a camel to go through the eye of a needle.
It is only natural for those without spiritual reasoning, to be impressed, only by the physical. Yet what did Jesus point out?
That he himself didn't even have a place to lay down his head. Apparently, his faithful do not enjoy worldly riches either (Matt.25:35-36)
We store up heavenly treasures, knowing their value can not compare.
I know we know these things, but it is always good for all of us, to remember the wonderful things we have gained.
